Two units. One mission. Charge anywhere.
POWERSTREAM is the off-grid stack: bring it where the fleet sits. POWERLINK is the rapid link: 60kW DC out of any 3-phase supply. Buy them together for a complete mobile charging operation, or pick the one that fits the depot.
POWERSTREAM
Operate anywhere. Recharge anything.
Off-grid mobile battery energy storage with a 30kW DC output, modular up the stack as the fleet grows.
- Onboard energy 30 kWh (modular, +30 kWh stack)
- DC output 30 kW via CCS
- Recharge DC fast or via POWERLINK (3-phase AC)
POWERLINK DC60
Instant 60kW DC. No groundworks. No planning.
A movable 60kW DC EV charger that runs off a standard 3-phase AC supply. Plug it in, charge.
- Output 60 kW DC
- Input Standard 3-phase AC
- Deployment Plug and play, no groundworks
Fixed chargers are infrastructure. Ours are assets.
Fleets are electrifying faster than the grid can keep up. Wait eighteen months for civils and a DNO uplift, or drop a charger where the vehicles are this week. Oomph builds the second option.
Every unit we ship is movable, monitored and modular. If the depot moves, the chargers move with it. If the fleet doubles, the stacks double. If the grid is somewhere else, the unit runs off-grid and recharges on renewables. That is the difference between infrastructure and an asset.
- No groundworks. Plug into a 3-phase supply or run off-grid.
- No planning. No civils, no DNO, no eighteen-month wait.
- Modular. Stack 30kWh at a time as the fleet grows.
- UK built. Designed and manufactured in Cambridgeshire.
Charging that goes where the work is.
Fleet managers
Skip the eighteen-month groundworks queue. Charge the fleet now, scale stacks as duty cycles grow.
Automotive and autofactors
Charge demos, courtesy cars and customer vehicles wherever you need them on the forecourt.
Recovery and blue-light
Get stranded EVs moving and keep ambulance fleets charged. POWERLINK is already in NHS service.
Transport and haulage
Depot charging for last-mile EV fleets and logistics yards.
Off road and heavy plant
Off-grid power for sites where there is no grid in the first place.
Location and media services
Silent, clean DC power for location shoots and outdoor events.
Already powering critical fleets.
From NHS ambulance trusts to airport ground operations to OEM workshops. Real customers, real deployments.

What people ask before they book a demo.
What does Oomph EV make?
Oomph EV designs and manufactures mobile DC EV chargers and battery energy storage units (BES) for commercial fleets. The two flagship products are POWERSTREAM (mobile BES + 30kW DC charge) and POWERLINK DC60 (60kW DC charger from a 3-phase AC supply).
Do I need planning permission to install an Oomph charger?
No. Both POWERSTREAM and POWERLINK are designed as movable assets, not fixed infrastructure. There are no civils, no DNO uplift, and no planning permission required. POWERLINK plugs into an existing 3-phase AC supply. POWERSTREAM operates fully off-grid.
Where is Oomph EV based?
Oomph EV Power Ltd is based in Cambridgeshire, UK, with its registered office at The Lakes Business Park, Fenstanton, near Huntingdon. All units are designed and manufactured in the UK.
Who already uses Oomph EV chargers?
Public deployments include South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust, British Airways (charging Cobus electric airport passenger buses) and Lotus.
How quickly can a unit be deployed?
Days, not months. Because POWERSTREAM and POWERLINK are movable assets, deployment is constrained by logistics rather than civils, DNO, or planning. POWERLINK works as soon as it is plugged into a 3-phase supply. POWERSTREAM works the moment it is dropped on site.
